(More customer reviews)We own four of these helicopters and each one of them worked wonderfully right out of the box. We have had no problems with holding a charge. The helicopters take 6 AA batteries, but the batteries last months before changing, with almost daily use. The helicopters have held up very well over time despite some rough play.
Some of the reviewers complain unfairly that the helicopter is hard to control. That is the fault of the owner, not the helicopter. My eight year old had this up and running by himself with no instruction or adult supervision. At first he was a little clumsy with it, but by the end of the day he was an expert and can really maneuver it very well. He can now do all sorts of tricks with it. Just keep trying! This is a fantastic toy and one of our all time favorites.
