(More customer reviews)This is the latest addition to Align's highly-acclaimed line of T-Rex mini (not micro) helis. I own the 450SE (special edition) version of this heli, and couldn't be more impressed.
The biggest change about this heli is that comes as an ARF. Supposedly 80% of the frame is assembled, saving you the trouble of dealing with much of the smaller hardware installation. Just mount your preferred electronics, and you're ready to go.
I've been most impressed with the quality of product Align provides. The fit and finish of all parts are EXCELLENT - it is obvious that Align takes pride in their work.
Additionally, I have received excellent customer service from Align and their dealers. When I've had issues with parts, I've been able to contact their service folks directly, and they've been extremely accomodating. The hobby business (especially the R/C heli community) is extremely close knit, and Align seems to understand that customer service is key.
The entire T-Rex line, and especially this new ARF option, provide an extremely rewarding experience (both during the build phase, and at the field) if you appreciate quality and are willing to invest some time.
Do yourself a favor and get one.
