(More customer reviews)I had been reading most of the major heli forums (Heli Freak, TRex forum etc.) for a few months before I bought this book on my first trip to the local hobby shop to look at some of the heli's in person. I am a fairly well educated person with a strong understanding of physics and engineering and still found the early chapters in the book very informative on how the helicopters fly and why to set them up in a certain way. There are chapters on flight sims, how to chose your helicopter, building, triming, crash parts to have, and lessons on how to fly.
The book is well written and informative. I highly suggest reading this book to anyone interested in RC Helicopters. It is an excellent starting point and will help you understand the hobby and what is written in the forums (it can be quite confusing without the basic knowledge taught in this book).
