(More customer reviews)This is a great sim, however, it has no 3d/interactive maps. The maps are photo fields and for the most part not really that accurate (i.e. landing a heli in a grass field and the heli disappears but doesn't crash) The controller setup for this sim is also very aggravating. If you want to fly a fixed pitch heli you have to set the controller up for that single aircraft, if you want to switch to a collective pitch heli you have to go back into the settings and reconfigure all of the settings for the controls. In order to actually get the collective pitch to work on 3D helis you have to go in and alter the configuration on the actual helicopter setup.....then it still isn't a true collective pitch. On top of the heli side, as you would guess, if you wish to fly different types of airplanes(jets vs gliders vs stunt plane) you have to change the controller configuration. Finally, the actual training walkthroughs are not that good, there is a hover trainer & autorotation but no explanation. I have owned both RealFlight4.5 and now Phoenix V3 , i would recommend the RealFlight trainer hands down.
